Mortgage Repayments with Private Pension Savings Made Permanent

The tax-free use of private pension savings to pay down mortgages has been made permanent through new legislation that will take effect this autumn and apply retroactively from 1 January.

LSR’s Annual Report for 2025 has been published. It covers the fund’s operations over the past year, assets at year-end and much more. The fund has also published its Sustainability Report for the year.

LSR Annual Meeting to Be Held on May 5

The LSR annual meeting will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 5. The meeting will take place in the VOX Club conference room at Hilton Reykjavík Nordica and will be open to all fund members and employers.
