Registering with Evrotrust

If you do not have an Icelandic passport, you can use Evrotrust to log in to My Pages.

If, however, you have a valid Icelandic passport, we recommend that you use the traditional electronic ID from Auðkenni to log in.

Here’s how to register with Evrotrust, but to do so you will need a valid passport and a mobile phone or tablet:

  2. For this step, you need to use your phone’s camera to take a picture of your passport and your face in order to verify your identity. Keep the following in mind when photographing the passport:

    • Place the passport on a dark background
    • Make sure there is no direct light or glare on the passport
    • Ensure the entire passport is visible by avoiding shadows and ensuring that fingers do not cover any part of it 
    • Start by photographing the page with your picture on it
    • Keep the passport within the frame on the screen when taking the picture
    • Follow the instructions in the app, and if requested, also photograph the reverse side of the page.

    For the facial recognition process, keep the following in mind:

    • Hold the phone steady at eye level
    • Maintain good lighting and avoid being near windows
    • If you wear glasses, avoid glare and reflections
    • Keep your face within the oval frame on the screen and follow the instructions in the app

  3. If you have an Icelandic passport, you should also follow the instructions to add your national ID number to your Evrotrust registration.

  4. Call LSR at +354 510 6100 to confirm the registration.

    An LSR customer service representative will then verify your phone number using Evrotrust, and the registration process will be complete. After this, you can always log in to My Pages using Evrotrust.
