LSR Annual Report 2024 Now Published

The LSR Annual Report for 2024 has now been released. It covers the fund’s operations over the past year, year-end assets, and much more. This year’s report comes in a new format, with an emphasis on interactive presentation of content and information.
The report includes, among other things, a message from the Chair of LSR’s Board, addressing the fund’s current position, milestones reached during the year, new developments in services, the board’s priorities concerning participation in the Icelandic business sector, and the fund’s continued focus on sustainability.
In 2024, LSR’s asset portfolio exceeded ISK 1,500 billion for the first time, with total assets reaching ISK 1,567 billion at year-end. The fund also made pension payments totaling ISK 100 billion, marking the first time its annual disbursements have surpassed that threshold. Net investment income amounted to ISK 173 billion, the second-highest in the fund’s history.
As noted, the annual report has a new digital format. In previous years, it was published as a PDF, but this year it is released as a web-based report. It’s now easy to navigate between sections to find specific information, and all charts are interactive—allowing users to hover over bar and line graphs to view detailed figures or switch between tabs to view data for individual fund divisions.
The annual report is only published in Icelandic, but a short overview in English is provided in the report's last chapter.
