Each month, LSR pays pensions and retirement benefits to more than 26,000 members. Publishing documents via online banking is costly, and by discontinuing this method LSR will significantly reduce the cost of benefit payments.
Over recent months, LSR has tested the publication of payslips for pensioners and benefit recipients through Ísland.is and My Pages, with very positive results. Ísland.is can be configured to send notifications by email or via the Ísland.is app when a new document is delivered, allowing members to be notified as soon as a new payslip is issued.
Payslips are also easy to view on the document page on My Pages, where documents can be filtered by type and date of issue. My Pages can be accessed using electronic ID on a mobile phone and an authentication app. In addition, login via Evrotrust is available for members who do not hold a valid Icelandic passport.
