The Jafnvægisvogin recognition is awarded to companies and organisations that meet the initiative's target of having at least 40% representation of each gender in executive management. The initiative is organised by the Association of Women Business Leaders in Iceland (FKA) and aims to promote gender balance at the highest levels of business leadership.

This year, 163 companies, municipalities and institutions received the recognition, an increase of 27.3% from last year. The theme of this year's award ceremony was "Untying the Knot", highlighting the fact that despite progress towards gender equality in recent decades, women still account for only 21.3% of CEOs in Iceland. Furthermore, men accounted for 71% of appointments to CEO positions at Iceland's 300 largest companies in 2025.

LSR is proud to have received the Jafnvægisvogin recognition for the seventh time. The fund places great emphasis on equality in its operations and has adopted an equal pay policy and a gender equality action plan. LSR has also held equal pay certification since 2021.

Further information about Jafnvægisvogin and the initiative is available on the FKA website.
