LSR receives the Jafnvægisvogin Recognition

LSR has received the Jafnvægisvogin Recognition for 2025, which was presented at a formal ceremony at the University of Iceland on October 9. This marks the sixth time that LSR has received the recognition.
Evrotrust now available as a log in option

LSR fund members can now use Evrotrust to log in to My Pages, which is a useful alternative especially for those who do not hold a valid Icelandic passport.
Statement and Newsletter delivered to Fund Members

More Powerful Pension Calculator

LSR’s pension calculator for Division A has been updated, allowing fund members to now calculate the impact of taking half-pension benefits before transitioning to full pension. Members can also see how their pension entitlements develop if they choose to continue working while receiving full pension payments.
LSR Annual Report 2024 Now Published

The LSR Annual Report for 2024 has now been released. It covers the fund’s operations over the past year, year-end assets, and much more. This year’s report comes in a new format, with an emphasis on interactive presentation of content and information.
LSR Annual Meeting to Be Held on May 6

The LSR Annual Meeting will take place at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 6. Please note that this year’s meeting will be held at a different location than in previous years: Hotel Reykjavík Natura, Nauthólsvegur 52. The meeting is open to all fund members and employers.
Milestones Reached in a Strong Operational Year for LSR

The year 2024 was a strong operational year for LSR, with the fund delivering a total nominal return of 12.4%, which corresponds to a net real return of 7.1%. The fund’s net investment income amounted to ISK 173 billion, the second-highest ever in LSR’s history. At year-end, the fund’s total assets stood at just under ISK 1,567 billion.
Interest Rate on Non-Indexed Loans Reduced to 8.3%

The interest rate on new non-indexed loans from LSR will decrease by 0.2 percentage points, from 8.5% to 8.3%, effective Friday, March 28, 2025. The interest rate on LSR’s non-indexed fund member loans is fixed for 36 months at a time.
